Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, or insomnia because coping with your reality has become harder?

Make a decision to change that reality. Counseling can be a way to help you figure out what you want and get your life back on track. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York  and I can give you some much needed direction on your journey. Start building a life worth living.

Melody Miller

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and

Credentialed Substance Abuse Counselor.

I have worked as a therapist for the past nine years

in the Western New York area.

I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns

including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, coping with addiction or self medication, career challenges, and codependency.

I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

I believe that people have the answers to most of the questions that they ask. They just need help sorting it all out.

Asking for help might make you feel uncomfortable or weak

but it actually takes tremendous courage to seek a

more fulfilling and happier life and to take steps towards

change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here

to support you.

Online counseling is a convenient discreet way to engage in treatment in a busy stressful world. It is typically more cost effective and gives people a chance to work around work, school, and child care schedules.

Therapy, also called psychotherapy or counseling, is the process of meeting with a therapist to resolve problematic behaviors, beliefs, feelings, relationship issues, and/or somatic responses (sensations in the body). Beginning therapy can be a big step toward being the healthiest version of yourself and living the best life possible—no matter what challenges you may be facing. Through therapy, you can change self-destructive behaviors and habits, resolve painful feelings, improve your relationships, and more.

Substance abuse counseling can help reduce the negative impact of your substance abuse or unhealthy self medicating behaviors. I work with clients on identifying the underlying cause of these behaviors and finding healthy alternatives so that people can live an authentic and fulfilling life.
